The Bleak House is known for its unique Italian Villa style known as “Tuscan” and it’s beautiful cascading gardens that almost reach to the Tennessee River. It’s a well known staple in the Knoxville photography industry. The white building is the perfect contrast for any style of photos. Not to mention the wisteria covered pathway that leads you into the garden as if it were a portal to some fairytale land. The perfect engagement location to add an Italian flare to your photos! For a small $50 fee its all yours for the hour.
Is your wedding venue nestled in the country side or outdoors? Sometimes couples prefer to have their engagement photos taken in a completely different setting than their wedding venue. Downtown Knoxville is the perfect urban jungle with just the right amount of edge. From Market Square to Gay Street Knoxville has so many options, setting your engagement photos apart from the rest!
Are you guys the kind of couple that enjoy the outdoors? Hiking, paddling, or frolicking in a field? Ijams Nature Center offers an amazing rustic setting with unused railroads & worn down buildings. Ijams has over 12 miles of trails on 315 acres of land. The quarry is gorgeous and offers a place to cool off in the summer time!
The Knoxville Botanical Gardens feels like a whimsical fairytale that is open to the public all year round! It cottage style architecture and cascading light through the trees make the perfect to showcase your love. These gardens remind me of the book “The Secret Garden” with lots of fun nooks and crannies to explore. During blue hour couples can take in the mountain in the far distance, truly embracing Knoxville’s beauty.
This location is probably one of my all time favorite spots in Knoxville! Sequoyah Hills Park offers a vast landscape along the Tennessee River and every time I photograph there I feel so much at peace. It’s a great location all year round and very dog friendly! It’s beautiful in the winter just as it in the Spring when the dogwoods bloom along Cherokee Boulevard.
